Interesting one this. Do the TVs have a model number corresponding to 2093D? The D could well stand for digital.

BUT integrated digital tellys are normally described as such.
Yes but the telly in their photo has the dvb sign on it so surely must mean it is intergrated....maybe someone can ask this on the tecchie board...
And regardless of that somebody who has received the telly has stated a different model number.

Puuding - that is the same model as they sent me - twice.
This is a link for the same tv on amazon - but sadly no longer available (BUT it does state that the TV has freeview integrated)

The first box that was sent to me was so thick with dust it must have been in the warehouse for quite some time..... I have had a little look online to see how much the set they are sending retails for, but I've not had any joy. I'm pretty confident the package their sending isn't worth £199.99.
I'm off to Makro tomorrow as they have a 14" bush tv with intergrated freeview for roughly the same price (£99 that is not £199!!!)

The last retail price I can find of the 2019TSIL was £60.

Do they have an a/v input socket (most likely two phono style connectors one white, one yellow)? The specification on the Littlewoods page indicates they have a SCART connection and an a/v connection. I think the 2019TSIL has only one SCART input which would be further cause for complaint.

Empire are notorious for this (digital camera anyone)

I'm amazed that nothing has been done to stop them, it's obvious that they are purposely deceiving people now. It's happening far to often for it to be genuine mistakes.

Mass email campaign to watchdog anyone?

Thanks for the pointer Matto, I'll get my DS to check it later. Looby, I think I will send a note off to Watchdog on the weekend as OFT don't seem that bothered. Could just be our local office though?
Had I had a sincere appology I wouldn't have made so much fuss, but they are blatently not bothered by it. It seem that they are just trying to get shot of these sets and will do just about anything to do so.

The best people to complain to would be the Trading Standards Office local to Empire.
