Hi ya,
Bought a steam generator iron from Aldi's, unfortunately its been very tempremental!
Took it back yesterday and was given a refund as they didnt have any left.
Obviously need to get a new one now, can anyone recommend what else to get.
I noticed in previous threads Tefal are very good. One advantage the Tefal has over the Aldi's is that it is refillable WITHOUT turning off and waiting to cool down which i like the idea of.
Can anyone recommend anything?
Thank you,
Squibbs.
(sorry if i posted this in the wrong place, but i did post yesterday on the i wanna buy it board and not had any replies, hope to get a better response on this one!)

Think the one we have is the Tefal Pro Turbo steam generator- I have said before on this board - it absolutely brilliant and worth every penny. Suspect it would be in a different category altogether to the one you bought from Aldi. We got ours half price on Amazon.0 -

I have this one from Argos, bought recently...gets really hot, good steaming, I'm an 'ironing fairy' so have to have a decent one...I can recommend it.

I got an iron from Tesco £9.99 about 6 months ago. Had no probles with it at all. The reason i bought it is because it is so light, my wrists give way and the last tiem it happened i ended up with 2nd degree burns on the right side of my stomach and the the top of my right leg, I have to sit down to iron. I foudn the more expensive irons were too heavy, it has loads of steam too and can iron vetically. Depends on how mych you want to pay i suppose.0
