Screeding

My kitchen is on the second floor,block and beam sreeded this area of screed is 3x3 sq metres then 40mm insulation i had to remove it as was crumbling the rest of the room is ok which is the lounge.
How do i re do the screed myself to make good what failed?

    I'm one poster here who says , DIY
    But you are tackling a big job. The finished job must be flat and level , or you are in real trouble.

    If you asked , how do I screed a garage floor ?? would gladly start giving advice.
    But a second floor kitchen , I think is a job for a builder .
