Samsung Tocco on Vodafone

Hi can anyone help me.
Not sure if this is the right forum!
My wife bought a Samsung Tocco S8300V from a Vodafone store on Saturday after being rushed by the salesman.
The long and short of it is that she hates it, and tried to take it back this morning, they said they woudn't and their 14 day return policy doesn't exist anymore.
Does anyone know if this is true and where does my wife stand on this?
Thanks

Hi Guys
I just want to clear this up.
Over the phone and online you still get the 14 days cooling off period. This hasn't changed.
Our retail stores have changed their returns policy on the 16/3/09.- The policy for modems and datacards is staying the same
- There is no longer a 14 day return policy in store for phones
- If your phone develops a fault we can swap it anytime in the first 28 days from your in store purchase
- If you find you have no network coverage you can cancel within the first 7 days.
Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm WELSH. .0 -
Thanks for that, does that mean I can call them and get it changed?0

It means that phones bought instore do not qualify under the 14 day cooling off / returns period, If your wife had bought the phone online or by phone you could return it,Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm WELSH. .0

Why don't you try this first?- If you find you have no network coverage you can cancel within the first 7 days.

Do you not have to prove it?0

I'm not sure they can be bothered - They would have to send someone round to your house to do that.stonecoldsteveaustin wrote: »Do you not have to prove it?0 -
If you insist there is no network coverage in your house, they cannot prove you wrong. Surely it is only good customer service to offer you an exchange for a different phone. Be persistant.I started Life with Nothing and I still have most of it left!
