Re-fix oven door glass - cheap fix

Our rubber gasket that fits on the inner glass panel of our oven broke and I was quoted around £30.00 + p and p for a replacement. I was looking around for an alternative supplier and came across the AB Sealants website and here they do a high temperature resistant silicone in black. Code number for this product is HTRB and the cost is £8.45 plus £2.35 p and p. Have now fixed both of the panels in our oven and there is still plenty of sealant left. This product has sealed the glass to the oven door much more efficiently than the rubber gasket that broke and now the oven gets up to temperature much quicker.
Hope that some of you may find this useful and money saving - beats having to buy a new oven.
