Influx Of Finance Adverts On TV

Is it me or are there even more ads on telly from debt management companies?
I tend to have Sky Sports News on in the background all day and this week there seems to be a tonne more of these adverts.
The thing is normally they are just consolidation loan ads but all these new ones are offering IVA's.
C'mon Martin, when are we gonna see an MSE tv ad?

I did think there were more than normal on the Animal Planet channel (yes watch this
And yes I am sad enough to leave it on for the dog if I am out too...) the other night... maybe I should spend more time in the garden and less within the earshot of the telly

i have the telly off more often than not these days. if its not tempting me with things I cant afford, its offering me debt I cant aford.
this morning I opened a scarey looking "red letter" I was like  what the hells this for, until I opened it and it was a mailer from loans.co.uk offering me a secured loan of up to 75k
So I phoned them out of boredom and I siad, oh i want 30, she was like should be fine., you do know they are secured loans I was like yeah, so? She was like "oh nothing to worry about" I said, what APR is that? She couldnt tell me, but was trying so hard to keep me on the phone it was embarrasing.
Its absolutely unbelievable. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

I'm gonna have to start doing this! :rotfl:
We'll have to find the freephone numbers of course! I might let them think they've got a sale then say something like, "it all sounds good but before I commit to anything I would like to consult the moneysaving experts on mse.com!

That's very evil Lynzpower but very funny!
I do think there are more ads on TV but maybe I'm just more sensitive to them since I became a DFW.
Also, hardly a day goes by without one of us getting a letter offering a loan or a CC, maddening.0
