Hi mate.
The budgeting sounds like a great idea - to be honest I haven't priced nappies etc, so I need to. With the food side of things, we always cook from scratch so will be doing that for the baby too. the budgeting spreadsheet would be great!
As for the DVD question, I haven't really thought about a DVD seriously, but I am working on a project for weight loss that will increase my earning power. It will take a little while to get off the ground, but once it does I am hoping for it to really take off - my vision is to be making £120k per year within 2 years!Loan [STRIKE]£5000[/STRIKE] £0; Overdraft [STRIKE] £700[/STRIKE] £0

Today the weather has been absolutely junk here, so I have managed to stay inside and do lots of work on my business. It has felt fantastic and I have achieved so much in a short space of time!
I have one more session tonight, then it is out with my GF for an NCT class.
The big news today......it has been a no spend day! Could do with a few more of these soon I think!Loan [STRIKE]£5000[/STRIKE] £0; Overdraft [STRIKE] £700[/STRIKE] £0

I have to fuel in the car today and get it serviced soon, so there is going to be a big hit on the account. That said, I don't have any other big payments to make for the rest of the month (touch wood) so I can cope with it.
I am expecting a couple of payments into my account within 2 weeks, so that will help offset car service!Loan [STRIKE]£5000[/STRIKE] £0; Overdraft [STRIKE] £700[/STRIKE] £0

Hi mate, I get a daily email from petrolprices.com which tells me the best price for fuel at the nearest garages. Its always the same garage to be honest but always a saving.0 -
Yeah - knowing your fuel prices are important. My two cheapest are a Tesco and a Morrisons, both of which I pass regularly. I have points cards for both so always make sure I get the benefits from them. Recently my fuel bill has gone down, mostly because I have improved the way I see people - where possible they come to me now which saves.
When the weather improves I will be out on the bike a lot more as well so it means I am saving that way too.
We were making regular (monthly) trips to see family which would be a 800 mile round trip, so I have put a stop to that for a while - the mountain can come to Mohammed now! With each trip costing around £250 when you add up fuel, eating out and drinks, it is an expense I can do without.
I have a couple of payments within the next 2 weeks when I look at things, so I am relaxed about the account now. With the bonus of not paying out on credit card debt I will have e chance to throw some more money at the savings, and add a bit to the flexiloan account. The less I can be paying out each month, the better!Loan [STRIKE]£5000[/STRIKE] £0; Overdraft [STRIKE] £700[/STRIKE] £0

Little extra income this weekend - a £25 cash fee paid, plus another £50 going into the account on Monday - keeps me ticking over with weekly expenses. I also have an additional £35 going into the bank, a refund from a travel company!
Next month there is also an additional £120 from a new client. In my head the £120 basically pays for the baby nappies, food etc. I am starting to apportion money to different jobs! Each £30 that comes in is now thought of as 'phone bill' or 'car insurance'!Loan [STRIKE]£5000[/STRIKE] £0; Overdraft [STRIKE] £700[/STRIKE] £0

Just awaiting payment from a client, plus another payment in cash tomorrow. I am keeping the account in £200+ of credit at the moment.
We have another 2 months of full salary before my girlfriend goes onto maternity leave and stat. mat. pay, which means I have a couple of months to try and put a few quid back into my accounts, giving them a boost. Hopefully I will be able to do that no problem, but we will see!Loan [STRIKE]£5000[/STRIKE] £0; Overdraft [STRIKE] £700[/STRIKE] £0

Its getting close mate, well done, your debt has come down hugely and I'm sure you will manage to clear the rest even when your on the one salary.0 -
I hope so mate - although I am probably going to be investing money into a new business soon. Hoping to do it on a monthly basis though, so the income hit isn't a massive deal!Loan [STRIKE]£5000[/STRIKE] £0; Overdraft [STRIKE] £700[/STRIKE] £0

Potential new client on the radar - no idea how much she will be paying (if anything at all) but even if it is something as small as £50 per month it will serve as a boost to the account each month.
Having done the maths, I am satisfied the baby wont be particularly expensive, so we will be fine for money. Rather selfishly I have gotten used to using all of my money for debt repayments, and it will be painful for me to not have extra cash to fund my out of debt mission!
Some good news for the finances - one o my clients has upped his requirements from me, which will result in his bill being £350 per month - yummy!Loan [STRIKE]£5000[/STRIKE] £0; Overdraft [STRIKE] £700[/STRIKE] £0
