Hi all
I have stocks isas ect but have no life assurance
A thought just occured to me
would i be better paying into some form of endowment as part of my investments?
And if im lucky enough not to die in next say 15 years then ill have (hopefully) a lump sum to show for it ?
Also if a good idea what would the tax implications be on the lump sum ? since its not tied to a mortgage ?

its just packing the life cover with savings...far more cost effecetive to buy each seperately.
if you do go end. then the maturity is tax free as a qualifying plan (but will have paid tax on the life fund it as invested in...hence you have no more to pay - hardly a bargain)0 -

I'm not sure what plant you have been visiting for the last 5 years but it appears the endowment issues have passed you by
The only endowments you can buy now are execution only basis because no financial adviser would touch them with a barge pole.
Life cover is one thing, investments are another. There is no need to combine them into a single inefficient vehicle.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
