Are the job lots worth buying, or are they just scams???

There are alot of laptops selling on eBay, but there aren't all scams. Same with bulk buys.

Look at the feedback, previous sales etc and decide if you want to buy. Use paypal for protection.

depends what ur buying a bulk lot in really i guess!! judge for urself same as wud with a standard item, by feedback of seller etc

i dont really trust the mobile phone ones or the links that they try to sell..

if their selling a bulk lot of faulty mobiles they're normally a good deal, but not so much with like a bulk lot of samsung d600's or sumin. The links are actually real, ones to various sites, but i think its harsh to sell links to sites ppl can find for free.
