Applied tonight for a Very catalogue and was surprised to get a sorry cannot send a book. All my accounts are up to date and there are no defaults, never dealt with this company group. Only thing I can think of my ex partner had debts with the littlewood'a group and she's still on my credit file as an associate. We've been split for over a year, should I get this association removed? we no longer have a joint account together.
Do you think this is what it may have been for the decline:o

It's impossible to say why you were declined especially during a credit crunch.
However it would seem senisble to file a notice of dissasocation with a 3 CRA's.0 -

Try this - order something and then apply at checkout, I was told I could not have empire direct catalogue (same group), when I ordered something and then applied for account at checkout I was accepted with £800. Note when I asked for catalogue no CRA was searched. You will notice from my sig my current limits from both Very (9 year account, old Littlewoods flexible account) and Empire (6 month account). Let us know how you get on!!
Good luck!:D0
