Principality Regular Saver Bond

My Principality Saver Bond issue 5 is nearing maturity. Does anyone know if they allow withdrawals by BACS or is it by cheque only?

I've already received the maturity letter but there is no mention of how to close the account.

Thanks in advance.

  • Open e-saver.

Get 'em to transfer money there then you can transfer direct to your bank account.

I understand that, if you don't already have an e-Saver with them, the proceeds from your matured Bond will be placed in a new one for you. This is easy access, so you can transfer them out by BACS.

Apologies for hijacking the thread - How do you access the e-saver account? I've received a letter saying the balance will be transferred to an instant access account with the same account number as the regular saver account but no further details.

You have to apply for it - therefore will take several days to set up.

Once set up it's useful to keep open with £1 as a receipient account for any decent future maturing RSs or Bonds
