Tesco Not Accepting Internet Coupons?

Hi have a problem trying to redeem the milka coupon I printed out on my printer.

Did not work in Tescos woman asked where I had got the coupon. She did not try to scan it tho so don't know if it would work if I had gone to a younger checkout operator cos this one seemed to be a stickler for rules. She said we don't take it cos we never get the money back for printed coupons. Annoying cos I could have clicked send in post. Think she thought I was being fradulent and had photocopied coupon but not my fault coupon printed in black and white.

Will now try it in asda but not hopeful after reading another post someone else has had trouble with it in there. Got a bread one to redeem as well that will also be a problem I guess.

Any help or know anywhere else that will definitely take it. There is a morrisons out of my way does anyone know if they take them?

Thanks guys so frustrating as that game took me a while to play and I thought I deserved my free bar.

    Xmas Saver!
In all honestly our local Tesco store stopped accepting any type of internet vouchers, basically down to the amount of fraud that had taken place, those like u, me+ a millon others, have been let down by the bad apple.....

Don't think Morrisons or Asda will take internet vouchers.

    Sorry x
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • I always find its best to go to the CS desk when I enter the store and ask whoever is on the desk what their policy is - it varies from store to store - its down to the store manager's discretion. Then if the checkout operator raises a query I say that I have checked it out with CS.

IMO the printable coupons will soon fade away. People are greedy and multiple printing / photocopying the voucher. When it is redeemed the couponnet people mark off its unique code as used. So if its photocopied and has same code then they will refuse to pay out. Hence why most stores are tending not to accept them.
  • I was able to be able to redeem the Milka voucher at Sainsburys

  • Asda should accept them as they have their own version of couponnet solely for them:

  • Used my Milka coupon in Tesco with no problems at all.

  • There's a lesson to be learned here. If you have the option to have it posted to you...do it!

Mine came two days later. Took it into Tesco and used it against their two for £1.50 offer thus paying 55p for two bars:j
  • I think if it as me I would go to cusomer service with my voucher next time I was in. My Tesco's had no problem with it:D

fed up with Tesco and the uncertainty of what vouchers they will or will not take, total joke, gonna get an Express this week to get the Lidl voucher, stopped using Tesco recently due to change in voucher policy - went last week as I had a £40 gift card from car insurance, could not believe how poor their offers were, and how ridiculous some of their prices are compared to Morrisons and Lidl, I have now defected and will not go to Tesco any more - lets watch their market share disappear down the pan
