Options
I brought a battery for my car online from tayna.co.uk 8 weeks ago and it kept going flat so i went to a garage who have tested my alternator and said the alternator is fine its the battery thats not holding it charge.

I picked up a new battery as i didnt have time to weight to send back the battery i already brought and wait t for a new one to arrive as i need to use the car iv had it installed and this battery has been fine ever since.

i now have this faulty battery which i no longer need am i entitled to a refund or will they just replace it i dnt want the battery now :o

what are the levels on the battery or is it sealed?

they can repair (refill it with acid/water) replace or refund it

in future, buy locally, that ways you can buy a replacement whilst the first is tested, then they will refund you the amount for the second and take appropriate action on the first

out of interest what battery is it (number eg 063, 065, 121....) how many years warranty is it and how expensive was it

sounds like you bought the equivalent to tesco own brand economy AA batteries and it backfired on you

you dont have a choice, me thinks youll have two batteries

its not so bad, unused batteries hold their charge for yonks,
    Back by no demand whatsoever.

i wouldnt be worried about 11.9? was this under load?

have o idea what theyre on about when referring to 12.5v plus

that shows somebody doesnt quite know their numbers

it should be 14.3 ish under load with the alternator charging

    12ish with no load

and 12ish with load if its strong, 11.9 is acceptable as it can fluctuate, below 11 and id call it a dudd.

£90 sounds alot for 1 year, what car is it? and do you know thee model of the battery?
