Please be aware that Nintendo do not approve these chargers and they can (and do) ruin your wii. I had a charger plugged into my Wii and it ruined the power supply. When I spoke to Ninetendo they told me that they do not licence (not sure if that's the right word) any such product. HAving said all that though this is still a bargain and you can buy a seperate USB charger that you could plug this into.

I hear what you are saying about the standard response, but I was speaking from experience. These unlicenced products did wreck my Wii and yes I thought the same as you, ah well it's just to get us to buy licenced products. The thing is Nintendo don't even make a charging stand so theres no commercial reason for this warning. All I was trying to say was if you do buy one of these for heavens sake DO NOT use the USB port of your wii, buy a seperate charger such as the Apple charger.
