Need some advice.

When I try to open https://www.s1jobs.com, my browser window closes.

I have tried clearing cookies and history.

I run norton security.

It's just this one website, and just the last 2 days.

Any clues?

I checked the page using Opera, IE, Firefox and it works fine. I did find an article with a link to an mskb areticle which sugested updating your JVM (Java Virtual Machine) in such circumestances. http://java-virtual-machine.net/download.html

It could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.

No joy... neat little programme though!

Going to switch everything off, have a cuppa and try again.

It's only the front page that does this- links to other bits of the site are fine... grr...

Maybe its a sign to take a few days off job hunting!

They are links, but they aren't active links. You're supposed to copy them and type them into your address bar :D

You haven't inadvertantly turned java off have you ?

http://www.computerbytesman.com/acctroj/howto.htm where it says 'Disable' you need to enable it.
