Hi

I got a new BMIbaby credit card and done a balance transfer at 0%, I've got my first statement in and it has this plus (CPP which I did'nt want).

Anyway they have an estimated interest figure of £50.00!

I 've asked why and they claim the figure is worked out using your standard apr but I will not be charged any interest.

Anyway after all that, has anyone had the same experience? I get the feeling they don't really know why either?

Thanks
Frank

If you're on 0% they won't charge you. The figure on your letter is one they have to put to satisfy financial regulations and is just an illustration of what you would pay in interest on a standard amount (can't remember, possibly 2K ?) at their standard interest rate. Basically, don't worry about it :)
