The advice I give on here is based on my many years in the preservation industry. I choose to remain anonymous, I have no desire to get work from anyone. No one can give 100% accurate advice on a forum if I get it wrong you'll get a sincere apology and that's all:D

Did I still spend too much ??? Don't care . its my eye sight .... priceless.
  • Had my annual test at Specsavers yesterday. There is just a slight change, but they did not try to persuade me into getting new glasses I don't need. Good for them.
  • Over about 10yrs my contact lenses have got down by £10 a month! Yay for Specsavers.:j

  • Specsavers have been brilliant with my lottle boys glasses. he's only 4 and is a bit rough and tumble! He frequently bends the arms and breaks the plastic bits that sit on his nose, they always mend them immediately and free of charge.

I have always gone to specsavers to take advantage of the two for one offers, but a few years ago they couldn't fit the hubby in, and since he had broken his old glasses and needed new ones in a hurry, we went to vision express. He bought some reactions ones, which were quite nice, and in total including the eyetest, it cost around £170. A few months back, he went to specsavers to get his two yearly eyetest and managed to get two pair of designer glasses for £125 and an eyetest for £7.50 from a local newspaper... happy days!!
