I am looking at getting a 0% intersest on balance transfers card as all mine have come to the end of this period. My hubbys card is actually the one with the highest interst rate on it and I'm wondering if I can transfer his balance onto my new card? Or am I not able to do this?
Thanks
Thanks

Yes you can, but then you become legally responsible for the debt, rather than your husband (if that matters to you).
The only thing you need to make sure is that the new card does not belong to the same financial institution as your husbands card, otherwise they won't allow the transfer (i.e MBNA to MBNA will not be allowed).0 -
Thanks - it will be from Egg card to either Nationwide or Virgin - hopefully!0

Not sure whether Play.com or MBNA credit cards are still showing on MoneySavingExpert as great for balance transfers, but WE WARNED - I have a Play.com (MBNA) credit card and every transfer I've made (three in all) have been messed up by MBNA in some shape or form!!!! The transfer deal may be great, but DOUBLE CHECK everything that apppears on your MBNA account!0
