Beech hedging

Hi all

Have done a quick search but nothing obvious jumped out at me!

I have inerited a garden that must have been beautiful in its day but has sadly become rather overgrown. Gradually working my way around it and I have got to the beech hedge. As far as I can tell its a mixture of purple and copper beech and some bits have thrived and others have not.

I have to say at this point I have the most fantastic gardener who comes in once a week and helps out (and is educating me by degrees!!!!)

Anyway I need about 50 beech hedging plants - I dont mind whether it is local (I live near Lincoln) or by mail order but I need them fairly soon so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :D

Thanks

I had some hedging from these guys once, and the plants were fine:

I expect others will be along with further suggestions shortly.

Used the same people for beech hedging, apple trees and other plants. Would recommend them.

Thanks :D apple trees are next on my list, I have several trees that have suffered pretty badly from being left so I need to replant some as I go

Blimey, I'm tired. Just read the title of this and my eyes nearly popped out - thought it said 'bleach hedgehog'.

My usual supplier is based in Snitterby, not far from Caenby Corner - probably save you the delivery cost.

    British Hardwood Tree Nursery - 01673 818443, or britishhardwood.co.uk.

    Hope that helps!
