**Update***
It now works!
However, I now have a new (probably easy to fix) problem. -It doesn't update the answer to the formula until I save the document. Is there a way around this? A button to tick/ untick somewhere?

What version of Excel are you using? You might need to set it to update calculations automatically.0

Take a look in Tools > Options then the Calculations tab and see if there's a check in the Automatic option or not0
