DVD Burning Problem

I tried to make a backup copy of my Packard Bell Master DVD using "Record
Now". Everything seemed to work fine, and the dvd-r appears to have a burnt area on it. However, when I click on the d:\ drive to check for the files there aren't any on the destination disk, and under properties both the "free" and "used" areas are both 0 bytes. I've done very little cd or dvd burning before - what stupid mistake have I done please? Thanks.

Polybear.

Maybe the Master DVD is protected against copying? I'm not sure how you would get round that legally.
