Quidco!

Options
Has anyone else used Quidco?

I've opened a couple of gambling accounts to get the referral fee. For example you get £25 for depositing and gambling £10. Now I normally lose that £10 but I'm still £15 up!

Is that the way everyone else see's it or am I missing something?

Got it in one SS! Quidco is brilliant! Only tonight I signed up on a bingo site, depositing £10, I'll get £30 for the privilege and I've just won £12 on my first game! So I'll wager my £10, which is the rule for getting the £30 and I'll withdraw the £12! Which means for £10 I've made £32!!!

I've also done dvd rental trials, no obligation to stay, signed up for a few little things like the 25p P&O offer and used high street web to earn 8p a day!!

I've been on Quidco since April and got my first payout last week, with another £100 in the next couple of months!

I've already converted my parents to it and I make sure that if I need to buy something, if I can get it online AND through Quidco then I will.

Almost Free Money (less £5 admin charge!)!!:T

The only thing I find with the bonuses are they you have to play them through like 25 times or something and inevitably you end up losing!

With Mecca I deposited my £10, got £10 free and played it all, so I was on the face of it £10 down, but next month I'll receive £30.

With Butlins and Virgin Bingo (you can see I've been bingo tarting my way round them all!) I deposited £10, got an £11 bonus, played the £11, plus a bit of my money and then won £6 on the slots with Butlins and £9 on the slots with Virgin, so I was able to withdraw £12ish and then I closed the accounts! So with both of them I put back on my credit card more than I'd deposited, plus next month I'll be rewarded!

If used sensibly Quidco can work really well, it's if you sign up for unnecessary deals and end up paying out on them.

It's like Pigsback, if that's used sensibly, then the piggypoints soon add up and you can get great offers there too! :T

i have not read any of the above threads in detail but just wanna say that all forms of gamling is bad for u, dont wanna sound moralistic either but i feel this thread is in appropriate for a debt free wanna be sort of forum. No matter how entincing and profitable the introductory offers/ bonuses are you will utimately loose more thatn u put in .. i have been there before.

    Hi kaz, no rant away.

The way it works is signing up to the sites through a referal site (quidco). For example I joined one casino and had to stake £25. I lost it all. But for signing up through quidco I get £40! Therefore I'm £15 in profit! :D

There must be 40 odd offers doing the same so if you make a profit of £15 a time thats like £600! :j

Shut up & stash the cash!!! Is on my list of jobs to do but have got £30 coming for opening cahoot account, and 6.5% back on oven from boots (no I didn't know they sold that kind of stuff either! Initially found it via a 10p link from Kelkoo!)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I know Kaz, I'm sorry, it's not a great advert really and when playing I could see just how easy it can be to get hooked on gambling. But thankfully I was fortunate to get my money back and then I closed the accounts immediately.

But people should have a look at Quidco, there are over 1200 merchants on there and if people who use the internet (not for gambling) then they could take advantage!

I've done a few bits on it - one with Totesport for £25 (£15 up, as you have to spend £10 on bets) and some bits and bobs on things I'd normally buy in the High Street (Woollies, Boots). Plus a magazine trial for £1 with £4.80 back, but I have to remember to cancel that soon, before the monthly DD kicks in.

The financial ones look good (Quidco didn't track the £50 A&L  as I think I hadn't got my settings quite right), but BA Amex gets £35, I need travel insurance for holiday in August and I should start to look for better house insurance too. Next month I will start my search for contact lenses on there. So savings as well as cashback.

Yet to try the Bingo type ones though, but with the sort of money you guys are getting back, I should give it a go!
