I wouldn't care, but I was in John Lewis at the Trafford Centre the other day and I'm sure I picked up a £29.99 Woody while in there.

Did the one you picked up have "Andy's Toy Collection" written in the bottom left hand corner? If so, it was the right one

I was unsure myself if the JL one was the right one because there's not many photos and the description is a bit vague, but according to a thread on HDUK it definitely is

The first batch seemed to have problems where the head doesn't move! Has anyone who got theres had this problem? The head on the one we got doesn't move either....

Just recieved mine, the head doesn't move either, should we be contacting amazon?

Have just printed out the return label... mine looked as if it had been opened prior to being despatched to me, so I wonder if they're just 'recycling'?

Can't remember if the one in John Lewis had "Andy's Toy Collection" on the box to be honest.

I Missed it! I waited to check with the OH that we could afford one( little boy LOVES Buzz!) and just been on Amazon, and it's back to full price

Does anyone know if he's on sale anywhere else please?

Is it still in demo mode ? I know from the video on youtube that his head only moves in certain modes.

No, I unpacked mine just to make sure that this wasn't the problem. You have to switch it from 'demo' to 'off for 5 seconds then switch it 'on'. Tried various different modes and switched it off and on again but he must have had a crick in his neck from spending so long in hyperspace...
