:hello: Another weezl diary! :j Impressive mortgage reductions already! :T Congratulations on baby no2! When is he due?

Ooooooh and you have already posted a meal costing! :T I lurked on your 50p a day diary wishing I could be even half as frugal... Your current £3/day for your family's food is still less than I spend just for me... :o In fact its what I am planning to cut my food budget to for next year... :o

Hi will be subscribing here as well I think :D
How much was the mince? I find that meat can be expensive but I suppose if it makes a few meals it works out better in the end.

I love jacket potatos. Just bought some for 30p at morrisons but nowhere near as frugal as your lot
Is it 32p each (per person?)

Your reduced mortgage is amazing, any sharing tips greatfully received :)

    thanks Pammy :)

the fishfinger dinner was 32p per adult portion, 5 fishfingers, enormous jacket potato, and smartprice frozen peas :) Have you got a costco near you, their jackets are very :money: at the moment :)

i dont think so, but morrisons was 4 for 30p so thought that was a bargain. the mince was £3 and will do two meals.

just realised I cant spell gratefully :o

gingababe I've had to raise it a bit now cos:

    • Being PG makes me a slightly fussier eater and I need more protein,
    • also my son has formula so he eats £1.25 a day :)
    • Also there's been a tad bit of food price inflation since last year when I was doing my 50p a day challenge. I reckon 60p is the best I could do, but not with a baby and being PG :o

Just read some of your recipes on your blog, like the sound of the jam sponge, sounds lovely :)
Do you not do it anymore? would love to have some easy cheap recipes.
