Incapacity Benefit, DLA and mortgage interest

My wife has been on Incapacity Benefit and DLA for just over a year. I work and have been handling the mortgage myself but that's getting very difficult. Can she claim for her share of the mortgage interest? We have 3 children at school - can she claim anything for them as dependants?
Anyone with any ideas?

As a husband wife surely the sensible thing to do is to pool all money including 3 x child benefits and pay the mortgage out of that. I'm maybe old fashioned but i cannot understand this mine and yours in a marriage.
No she would not be able to claim mortgage interest payments
The children are also your dependants.
If you post an SOA we could well come up with some cost cutting ideas
With work, DLA, incapacity benefit and child benefit you cant be too badly off surely. Unless of course you have major outgoings.
Anyway, post your SOA and go from there.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0
