Has the 3.25% ING savings account interest rate dropped?

Can't find the answer to this anywhere -

Have ING Direct done it again and changed the interest rate on the ING Direct Savings Account ? the 3.25% account which i opened last month isn't showing up on moneysupermarket anymore as one of the top paying and on ING's website it now says 0.5%!!!:mad:

You are still getting 3.2% for 12months from date of opening.
From 14th November new customers are no longer offered this rate . They get 0.5%.

What if you applied for the account at the end of October and sent a cheque to open the account after the 14th, would you get the 3.2% rate or 0.5% rate?

    Don't know.
Best to call them and ask what rate you are getting.

    Not really.

People who opened a 3.2% account are still getting 3.2%.

They are surely entitled to withdraw an account when they like - all the other banks do this as well.
