Been hunting around various places, digging through appliance site but not getting very far..
I dont have a 30Amp curcuit in my kitchen, so I only have a 13Amp socket + gas connection for my cooker.
Spec required is
- 60cm wide freestanding
- Black / Steel finish
- Gas Oven OR electric oven that can run of a 13Amp socket.
Desirable
- Double oven / grill
- Wok Burner / high flame burner
As my hood / splashback is smeg then Smeg was my first port of call - Ive emailed them but had no response yet. Even willing to consider second hand but obviously all I get on the likes of fleabay are model numbers, and people I ask on auctions are often not sure.
All I need is for someone to let me know "look for models X, Y and Z" - Can anyone help (or is someone selling one?

have you had a look at the reviews for smeg cookers? they dont seem to be very good, very mixed reviews.
i would have a trip to currys comet etc and have a look to see what power supply the better brands have eg AEG cannon stoves.
i think that with a 13amp power supply that you would be looking at a gas oven as the electric supply is just for the ignition.:hello: :j0 -
Most single electric ovens will run from a 13A socket, but AFAIK, no doubles. What about two single ovens and two sockets? Not multi-adapters or extension leads.
On the Smeg web site, look for "13 Amp power supply required" and if you are not sure, give them a call.

Smeg support in the UK does not answer emails ... ever. You need to phone.I've been making animations for my daughter. Tell me what you think? Search for "Where are you Pickles?" and "Pickles and the Bully" on YouTube.

I wouldn't bother with a eleci oven unless you've got the proper full on wiring there for it. only advantage of elci ones is that heat up quicker0
