Too much to balance transfer?

in Credit cards
I currently have a Lloyds TSB Advance Mastercard with a credit limit of £10,000. I have currently £9,730 to pay back but the interest is around £100 a month and the minimum payment is around £200 a month which I struggle sometimes to pay due to partner being in and out of temp jobs.
I would like to transfer this so I don't have the interest but I am not getting accepted probably due to the amount I wish to transfer. I don't want to get a loan as I already have one and don't want another one.
Has anyone else been successful with a balance transfer of this size?

Yes, but it will depend on salary and credit reports. have you tried Egg? But if you're getting refusals it may be better to wait 6 months or so and get hold of your credit report in the meantime. Just having multiple applications can, I believe, damage your "rating". Just to add, if you're struggling now with 2% minimum payments, be sure to avoid any cards with 3% minimum payments when you make your next application.
You can check out a list of BT cards and their minimum payments here0
