Couple of new end of aisle large displays:
    Kenco Rappor was on BOGOF.
Douwe Egberts was on offer too, two for set amount but can't remember price on either.

Yeo Valley smoothie yoghurts, pk of 4 were on offer for £1, these are lovely! (large pots gone back to normal price).

Anyone know what the red "Mix & Match" stickers are all about?

I popped in today, just for one thing so didn't look around. When I was in the checkout queue a woman came behind me with loads of meat, pork chops, chickens etc.

On them was a big red "Mix & Match" sticker. From what I could see every item cost £4 and she was arranging them into groups of 3 on the conveyor belt.

Also loads of pancake making stuff. Beats me why people buy the mixes, as surely they can put eggs, flour, salt and milk together?
because all they need to do is add water. I was surprised to see ready made pancakes on sale too - again same reason - getting out scales, milk, eggs and flour and making batter requires some (slight) effort which many people CBA to do...

Having said that I buy ready made Yorkshire Puddings but in my defence it's because my oven just does NOT get hot enough to produce the puddings like I used to make in my previous house with a new, fan oven. Same reason I cannot make a decent Toad in The Hole for fresh ingredients, although the frozen Morrisons one will rise shrug.gif - so that's what I buy when the kids fancy it for their tea.
