Morrissey ticket refund help needed !!

I bought 2 tickets for the Morrissey gig in Liverpool in August off ebay. It was cancelled on the night (Nov 7th). The gig is being refunded but the ebay seller refuses to refund me. All ebay will do is suggest I go to the police - It seems I have no protection from ebay or paypal as I'm outwith the 45 day period. The seller is being paid twice for my tickets and after an initial refusal has ignored all attempts at reasoning. I'm utterly livid does anyone know anything I can do ???- I note ebay ensured refunds were given for Michael Jackson tickets but they seem unwilling to apply the same policy to me .

You would need to issue a small claims court action against the seller. This is a civil matter, the police will not be interested.Gone ... or have I?0

Thanks, I couldn't understand why ebay kept saying that I should report the matter to the Police which seems ridiculous.0

Many people just assume that anything 'illegal' is dealt with by the police.
You will need the seller's home address, then you can send a letter before action detailing what you intend to do. If they do not respond you can then issue a small claims action online.Gone ... or have I?0 -
eBay's stance is right as they have no responsibility outside the 45 day window, and their insurance protection does not apply as well. You will have to bring your case directly against the seller, which will take some time and money to do.
This is why sites such as viagogo and seatwave were set up, as they act as intermediaries and offer protection against show cancellations. However, those two companies have been known to have dodgy customer service themselves....0 -
Throwing a wobbly / throwing a stop is surely a value-added bonus that all Morrissey fans are looking for? Should you not be offering extra money for the more authentic experience? If he turned up and ploughed through a tiresome Tony Visconti/Boz Boorer set then you got complaint.0
