1 months car insurance for scrappage

I need to tax and insure my 15 year old Mitsibishi Pajero temporarily so that it is eligible for the scrappage scheme.
Could any body give me advice as to the best way to do this as the comparison sites are for 1 years insurance.
Thanks

Don't use comparison sites then

I'm with Direct Line and they've insured a second car for me on a monthly basis until it's sold. I get my full NCB from the main car on my second car.
There are several companies that will insure on a temporary basis but you'll have to talk to them direct rather than go through a comparison website.
Keen photographer with sales in the UK and abroad.
Willing to offer advice on camera equipment and photography if i can!0
