AA Breakdown Repair Cover

hi,
i was thinking of purchasing AA breakdown cover via quidco,
but then noticed for extra you can include Breakdown Repair Cover.
has anyone had any experience with this kind of cover?
terms state must have service history, do they check this?

Hi, I had this put on once - essentially by mistake as I do my own servicing, and later noticed the 'it must be serviced at a garage' clause and confirmed with them that you need up to date service receipts. I did however claim for a battery and no check was made (probably as its not a serviceable item). If you were claiming for a major item like a gearbox then things would be different Im sure.
