Racers New Start Savers Thread

Hi everyone, I'm not sure if this is the right place to start this shiny new thread. Three months ago I split from a 5 1/2 year relationship my last thread was in the MoneySaving in Relationships Board you can check it out here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1346719&highlight=leaving+boyfriend&page=3

So far I am living in a rented room and have scrapped my car so I am taing is opportunity to save some cash to travel a bit and eventually save up for a deposit on a home.

This thread is to keep me in check as I can overspend especially on food, cosmetics, books and coffee shops. Thank you for reading.:money:

Hi Dinah, hoping to go to Montreal to watch the Grand Prix and try the Villeneuve mueseum, hoping to have a meal in his restaurant, visit his Dads grave and see a few art galleries and get a feel for the history of the place. I may visit my uncle in Vancouver who knows but just making enquiries at the moment. Hows the wedding plans getting on? I hear Congratulations is in order although we all knew it was coming lol!
