Help please (repairs)

Hey guys I was just wondering if I had any rights regarding repairs? Basically I have left my laptop in for repairs with a high street business, I did not purchase it there and it is not on warranty. Two and a half months on and I still have not got my laptop back. They said it would only take a week. whenever I go in to the shop, they keep saying the parts are stuck in the post. Its really starting to make me :mad::mad::mad: as I have all my course work on it. My laptop was taken as the deposit and I have been given a replacement laptop in the mean time, which is really slow, does not have wireless capabilities, so it is pretty useless to me and it is also lacking my course work. So if anyone could help me it would be much appreciated.:j

ASk for proof of what they have ordered and from whom>offer to contact them yourselves.0

Go back and ask for a wireless capable replacement.0

Ask them to give the laptop back to you as you are taking it somewhere else.0
