Office 2007 Enterprise

Hi,
I'm a registered NHS staff nurse and downloaded Office 2007 Enterprise Edition for £8.95. I installed this on a desktop and a laptop machine in my home, both of which I subsequently sold on Ebay (Office was uninstalled on both occasions).
I have acquired a new laptop and have installed the same program again but it won't let me activate saying I've already activated the license the maximum number of times ?
Is there any merit ringing them to see if they will accept one more activation or do I have to re-purchase ? (would they even let me use another license ??)
Advice appreciated - thanks
cheers, Bev.

For another £8.95, I wouldn't make a lot of fuss! But if you feel deeply about this, ring Microsoft and see if the techie will accept your account (especially the bit about uninstalling it before sale) and enable you to activate Office 2007 on your new laptop.beverley1471 wrote: »I'm a registered NHS staff nurse and downloaded Office 2007 Enterprise Edition for £8.95. I would say you reformatted the laptop before you sold it and never reinstalled Office, I hope you did anyway. That way they can't say the machine still has office on it. You could also point out that Microsoft allows you to use Office on your main desktop and one portable device, laptop, without an extra licencebeverley1471 wrote: »Hi,

If all else fails £9 is still a bargain. If your stuck you could try the new 2010 beta release till you get something sorted out, search the Techie posts for more info. Just remember Beta means free till it expires and could be buggy.New PV club member. 3.99kW system. Solar Edge with 14 x 285W JA Solar panels. 55° West from south and 35° pitch.0 -

Any large company can offer their staff a licence from MS software if they pay a little for the extra part from the Companies Corporate Enterprise Licence. Why do NHS staff get Office so cheap anyway?
The NHS is the UKs largest employer so funnily enough they have some clout.New PV club member. 3.99kW system. Solar Edge with 14 x 285W JA Solar panels. 55° West from south and 35° pitch.0
