Hello
Only just seen your post. So sorry things have gone the way they have for you. To accuse you of lying, that is just not on. Well done on complaining to the legal expenses insurer.
Things here have been difficult too. Still fighting the claim. Trying to get lawyer to go back to insurers with evidence we have that the report the so called expert did is rubbish, is proving impossible.
She did in the end get all my medical notes and has finally read them and is seeing now why we disagree with the so called expert. I have now just last month had a proper diagnosis as to what is going on with me and we are waiting the report from that and from there we are hopeful she will finally do something!!!

Well my case has been ongoing since I started this thread.
It would take me an age to tell all but my reason for posting today is the latest happening has me baffled.
I was given a court date for this week but it was postponed as someone wasn't going to be available and a new date requested.
However I have now had a letter from my lawyer stating she wants me to go and see a specialist to rebut the defender's evidence. I suggest this 2 years ago after the report of the medical assessment I had and was told it was not needed but if I wanted I could fund it at the cost of about £2000. I should add that person I am to see is at the NHS hospital, it is not private, another oddity.
So why now? Surely if case was due in court this week case should have been made? I am just baffled at this, it makes no sense to me. Am I missing something?
I have been unhappy with the firm of lawyer's DAS appointed and did complain at one stage and things did improver but I am not considering another complaint as I really feel the lawyer is making a complete mess of this.0
