Unfortunately without that cd you can't install office, not possible to copy from your old machne to your new pc if thats what you might have been thinking.

For the time being you could install the Beta version of the newest MS Office from here: http://www.microsoft.com/uk/office/preview/default.mspx

Original cd's were relatively cheap on ebay for Office XP Pro last i looked so maybe worth a look there for a new one.
    I'm better off without you.

I have just updated MS Office, there were 2 options one if you had the CD and one if you did not have the CD

Well extract the key, write it down and put it in a safe place, contact Microsoft in the UK and ask to buy a replacement disk.

You pay for a licence, not really the disk, you have a licence key so you can buy a replacement disk.

    Slave the harddrive then:

Application Mover is designed to move programs from one path to a different path on the same hard disk or to another hard disk on that same computer.

COA2 - I've previously used the first version of this and it worked well on Win98se, so I've no reason to believe it won't perform as expected now it's been updated to XP.

It could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.

Sorry about that, I only remembered that one as I had downloaded it previously when it was officially 'freeware'. Since then it seems its been converted to 'shareware'. I can't find my freeware version otherwise you could have had that. In my defence, it's only £7 or so :)
