Returning broken bag

I bought a bag from Topshop about a month ago I have only used it a few times and already the handles are coming apart and are about to break as you can see the glue peeling off. I can't find th receipt for it but I can find a receipt for the same bag (which I bought for my friend as a present) two months previously. On the receipt it says it 'expires' on 5/11. What can I do? Could I take the bag back and get a refund or replacement or not?

The 'expiry' date will mean for retuns due to change of mind. Your statutory rights dictate you are allowed a refund or replacement if goods are faulty. I expect Topshop would refund if that's what you wanted.0

Hi.. i have had the same prob today! mine was an animal bag from a local surf shop and at £28 it has only lasted 5 weeks..i took it back earlier and they exchanged it for another one no probs..ide ask for a refund and if not you will more than likely get another.
