Pls have a look at this site: http://www.telephonesonline.co.uk
They often have good deals on DECT phones.

Last time I got 3 refurbished (but look VERY new) Panasonic KXT-CD505 for £19.99 each. Excellent piece of kit (very big screen, loud speaker, nice design etc) !!!

im old fashioned and want to be able to pick up one handset and want to be able to pick up another handset to listen without having to hang-up the first handset.

I dunno if this helps but the Panasonic I mentioned above lets you conference call, i.e. bring other handsets in on the conversation, but you have to authorise it through your keypad, other people can't just pick up the phone and join in your conversation without your prior invitation.

Alternatively, it's really easy to just transfer from handset 1 to handset 2 to handset 3 etc through the keypad.

I've got three and they're the best phones I've ever had.

Any experience buying ex-dsipaly phone from them?? Philips 5152 twin pack and answer machine for only 29.99, seems to be a good value??
