You say you have a £500 overdraft facility on a joint bank account with your spouse - what's your spouse's credit file like? If its not as good as yours, then this could put your score down, because you would be financially linked.

I have no problem with any company.

I do have a problem with gullible people (in the main) spending money they don't have (in the main) with companies who prentend or imply they may be of use to the private consumer. They are scammers. It's nothing more. This particular forum section feeds this industry scam too by people constanlty recommending that people sign up.

Get a pen and paper. Same job, quicker, you don't sell your ar*e or give away your private info AND pay them.

If there is an error somewhere then that's different.

    £2

    2 f*cking quid.

Get a pen and paper? the OP said they were declined for credit but knew of no reason. Checking their credit file was the correct thing to do!

Thanks for the reply, my spouse's credit file is actually better than mine, they have 2 credit cards and there are direct debits set up on both of them to repay the balance in full each month, no missed payments, defaults or over limit charges ever.

I wouldn't mind so much but this will affect my chances of getting a mortgage if I can't build up my credit file.
