            korben - just to confirm that you are not paying any debts now, you should only be paying your priority debts like rent/mortgage and utilities and maybe anything else you want to keep like mobiles etc. Everything else can be used to save for fees and a Christmas present for your son.
 Do you have any credit left on any cards or any bank account that isn't up to its overdraft limit? If so I'd take out the cash for your fees. I haven't heard one single person get told off for that.

            Just speaking about ctax aspect: Contact your council asap and ask if they will let your wife make another payment arrangement for the arrears, - unless you have a bad ctax history then they are likely to be willing to remake the arrangement.:A0

            I echoed the previous advise that you should go Br at the same date . me and my other half didn't and we had council tax arrear too. i was made liable for a council tax between the date of my Br order and the one of my other half.BSC number 1830
