Taxi, have you tried looking for neck fillet ? It is not a bad price and makes a lovely casserole.

Yes, neck (scrag end) is a brilliant cut for stews and casseroles. I have to say we'd definitely go for the whole lamb idea as we did in March - yes, it was a big outlay but we're still working our way through it now and the actual "per meal" cost has been very reasonable.

    hi all :)

thanks for the messages :) Am getting the lamb tomorrow!

I've won £20 on BB today - a lovely surprise - withdrawn already of course. It's covering Christmas pressies brilliantly - all helps at the moment. After Christmas any bits and bobs I get will go off the debt - at the moment I'm actually trying to make sure I still have money at Christmas time as after christmas we're off to Leeds.

Also since my taking up of doing all my surveys again, I've been getting loads more - got a free product coming to try out and that should get me £4 :)

So thanks to you all so much as this extra money has definitely come from the motivation on the board!!

Great isn't it when bits and bobs of money come through and surprising how they all mount up.

    Hi all

Another treat day - although I said I wouldn't after the other weekend lol!! Went to see Scrooge in 3D with the kids, my mum and bf - was great and we shared the cost so not too bad. :)

Justgot to get a slow cooker for my mum and then 2 things for bf and I'm done for Christmas :)

Sophia's bday party to do - just somecheapy bitsfor party bags and also food - but am budgeting about £20 for thelot, which should be fine.

Not much to report- been really tired and a little down this week but am rallying and looking forwards!

Well, I'm embarrassed to say it but it's the kids, well, SOphia, that's causing me stress at the moment. THey are one area of my life I feel I'm 'failing' at now. I almost feel resentment towards them -god, that sounds so awful doesn't it? It's the constant bickering, fighting and answering back that's getting so wearing. I tfeel that if I was jsut doing more somehow for/with her that things would improve. :(

She's maybe picking up on your stress ...perhaps she needs to do things in one room while wills does things in another....both getting praised when they are good...or give her some more complex tasks to do ...I found this used to focus my girls when they were younger.
It's so hard when they need constant attention but they will grow out of it...I used to give them jobs to do in seperate rooms ,praise and reward them....if I was stressed...just bought me a bit of peace.
