I need some serious help.
Within one month I have used 3889 units of gas (m3 meter), which I believe is virtually impossible. I live in a two bedroom flat and have a combi boiler. I only use the central heating an hour in the morning and an hour a night. I tink this will cost me over £1000. Can anybody tell me what the problem might be. I have contacted British Gas who will monitor the usage for a week and then send out a specialist team, which i will have to pay for if no error can be found. Please help. I'm am really stressed about this.

I wouldn't have thought it possible to use that much gas on a domestic meter in a month!
Have you definitely located the right meter for your flat?
Is it accessible to others? Could someone have swapped it without you knowing - do the serial numbers match up with that on your bill?
- Thoughts are that someone may have swapped their for an identical looking meter with a lower reading on!0 -
