How do i handle this situation re: Courier

Hello

My husband sold his PS3 on Ebay and we arranged for Hermes courier to collect monday for delivery which they did. We have been tracking it all week as buyer has also and it never turned up for delivery yesterday which was the last day it should of :mad:

My husband did call them during the day yesterday and we was told it was out for delivery with the courier and they deliver upto 8pm at night.

Have had a look at the tracking on their website this morning and it now says not received by courier after telling us the courier had it and was delivering yesterday. Does that mean they have lost ?? Am not happy. :mad: This is there tracking online which states it was delivered to the courier who then minutes later has logged as not received!

    You need to phone then and hassle them to find out whats going on. There has recently been lots of reported problems with myhermes (thers a thread somewhere)

    Cheers CyberBob :beer:

    Great i should of researched on here before using them :doh: My husband has phoned them. They have then phoned the courier who is one of those ones that work from home and use their own car to do rounds BUT they are on holiday from today. They admit it should of been delivered yesterday or the courier should of handed it over to the temp courier who would be doing their route whilst they are on hols but it doesnt appear they have :wall: There is no record of it since the company dropped it off at the local courier who logged they hadnt received it minutes after the main courier logged dropping it off there :mad:

    At the moment they dont know where the parcel is. It isnt at their local depot. The CS are now getting the area manager to phone us and try sort it. I am really pee'd off now :mad:

  • I too wished that I'd have researched My Hermes before using them. I was lucky my parcel did arrive eventually. However the tracking number I was given was not recognised. I emailed them on at the support address given on their web sit and eventually got an automated response which said;

    This is an automated e mail, please do not reply

    We apologise, but are unable to deal directly with you regarding your parcel enquiry.
    Please contact the company with whom you placed your order.
    Thank you

    I STRONGLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING My Hermes
