My delightful one has been eating choc chip cornetto's and they've gone all down his green school shirts. They've been washed on a normal was (40c) but the stains are still in. any suggestions as to what will really shift them?
thanks again
You could try soaking in washing soda solution - that removes a lot of stains
I'll add this to the existing chocolate stains thread where there are loads more suggestions

Thanks for your replies and he's 6, unfortunatley it's my fault as well.:o
1 shirts not too bad the other looks like he had a food fight with himself, i let him help himself didn't realise i still had them in the back of the freezer and he found them. i'll buy a bar of vanish and get scrubbing then! I suppose this is penance- I've got a 7yr old grandson who comes out of school everyday looking like a 'food-fight' - he wears his lunch! He's one of those kids who can't sit still for more than 30secs without standing up and moving around - poss ADHD/ASD - an absolute muck magnet . You get hugs at your own risk

I make up a strong solution of Lidl's version of Vanish, Then pretreat the marks with about a teaspoon of the mixture and rub it in, then leave it for about an hour then wah in the normal way. Did this this afternoon with dark chocolate on a pink t shirt and it's gone0

Hi
For the 3rd time i've ended up with baby clothes off ebay that have turned up with chocolate stains on them (these are meant to be good cond when sold to me) anyway it's not worth returning them due to the return p&p but i'm hoping there is some old style trick that might work?0 -
