Flat Screen Monitor Switching Off

Hi, I have a flat screen monitor which keeps turning off every few minutes. I have tried it on a different computer and it still happens. Any suggestions or is it a matter of buying a new screen?

There may be an auto sleep setting on the screen
can you change the settings on it ???

    What screen is it
  • It is a Compaq FP5315. The time it takes to switch off varies from about 1 minute to 10 mins. It's not plugged in at the minute so I can't check any settings just yet.

Check in my computer, control panel, power options and 'turn off monitor' and see what it says.
