I ordered one last night, i take it it works on the same principle as a tens machine?
It's a similar principle, but it's much quicker as you use it for 30 seconds or so. You can also use it over light clothing, and it's easier to carry round with you.

  • I just spotted on another forum that Tower Health the makers of the PainGone are offering 10% off all orders placed before December 22nd.

It doesn't work on the mini PainGone since it takes the discount off the product cost (which is already £0) but if you were looking to buy the full size PainGone here:

    http://www.tower-health.co.uk/ambrowCart/shop/show_details.php?ref=PGN-PainGone

then enter the code W1VC10 and you'll get 10% off! :j

Does anyone know if the full sized pens work on the same principle of pressing the button for x amount of times? Got my mother the mini pen in the hope that it would help her, however, her hands are severely arthritic and is having difficulty in pressing the button on the mini pen.

Would be interesting to see if anyone with arthritic hands is managing the big pen

Yes, the big pen works the same way. I have bad wrists, and I struggle with the big pen - so I don't think it will be any better for your mum, sorry.

My sister is refusing to try hers :(

I'm finding it works great on the arthritis in my wrist, but isn't so good on my lower back pain. I'm unsure whether this is because it's harder to get it in the right place, though, and it's a bigger area.

  • Why is your sister reluctant to try it?!
