  • Hi Vikki, I have just watched the video and it was so sad. I have had M.E for 5 years now and am no longer bed bound but seeing the pictures bought it all back to me. It is a hidious illness and is made worse by peoples ignorance and non-acceptance. I also watched your clip from This Morning. I fit into the second group of sufferers now, living with my illness as best I can but it shows no signs of going away. This certainly wasn't how I saw my life. I hope the video helps raise awareness. I am so impressed at all you are doing, keep up the good work and take care.
  • I am a bit disappointed with that video. I thought it was going to explain some more about ME, not just show bedbound people.
There is already a lot of stigma about this illness. The people who are ignorant about ME will still be ignorant. It is only really the people who have a degree of understanding anyway who will understand the meaning in the video.
Is there a particular reason why there isn't more information within the video?

My main aim was to inform people how severe ME can get and for how long it can go on, I didn't want it to be too wordy (I've got another video of an interview i did which talks about ME) and I wanted people to see actual people with it
