mondeo immobiliser
i am not asking for any illegal advice etc
friend has a '96 mondeo which has not been used for quite a while. he has been ill for 6 months. can't seem to get his car started now. he has been told it may be the immobiliser. unfortunately he does not have the red master key. the only option he has is to visit ford dealers who will charge him an arm and a leg to sort it out.
is there a way he can get it done himself?

Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems

Don't think the 96 had a particular problem with master keys other than the Infra-red opening the doors thing (the non-red fob with the batteries could time out when replacing the bats). Could be just the car battery - they tend to last around 5 years...0
