boxing in the waste pipe for a toilet like this

when i install the new toilet i will need to run the waste pipe along the side wall to get to outside.
i have been looking at the following toilet, but notice the toilet goes all the way to the wall (if that makes sense!), where as i thought they normally stop about 15cm from the wall so you can run the waste pipe 90 degrees and still have the cistern flush with the wall.
does this mean i will need to have the whole toilet away from the wall so i can run the waste pipe at 90degrees??

Looks like you will have the whole toilet away from the wall. Can you not istall the toilet but make all the boxing in either the same height or higher than the toilet? By that I mean construct a half wall against the existing say 1 metre high.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. yeah that was my plan, if the whole toilet has to be away from the wall.
i have a 1 metre high wall opposite it for the basin so it will match in quite well0 -
Can't you fit it hard against the wall with the waste going straight out.
Instead of running the pipe along the wall on the inside, you can do the same run on the outside.
Does that make sense, do you know what i mean.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

Is it on the first floor? is so which way do your joists run? you could run the waste pipe under the floor boards and up to the new toilet pan.0

joists run the "wrong" way unfortunately

The actual waste connection will be recessed into the rear of the toilet and won't itself be flush to the wall. The surround will extend beyond it to give it a contemp finish.
Ideally, you need one that doesn't have the flush fit at the bottom. It would be far easier than building out a false wall and a better use of space as you'll be pushing the toilet further into the room.0 -
I had a similar type of loo, but I didn't have to run it very far to get to the main waste pipe as that was alongside the loo, but still had the 90deg bend problem.
I just boxed the area in after the plumbing was done. We located the loo such that the front of the "boxing"would be flush with the existing round the main waste/stink pipe.
There is a handy shelf on top and inside is a great storage for bottles of bleach/cleaner etc, etc. There is a shelf inside as well. Access is from the side by loo brush.
I used MDF for the work, much easier to work with than timber and has a better finish.0
